Bearing was founded on a simple belief; confidence catches fish. Built on the Texas Gulf Coast, Bearing creates soft plastics designed for the conditions we actually fish–from the muddy waters of Galveston Bay to the clear flats of Baffin Bay.
Every color, profile, and design is built with one goal in mind: helping anglers spend less time wondering what to throw and more time fishing.

I’m just a guy who spends a lot of time on the Texas coast and tired of chasing every new trend that hit the market. I wanted baits that made sense for where I fish, so I started making my own.
Over time, I shared those baits with other anglers, listened to their feedback, and refined them on the water.
What started as a personal pursuit became a mission: create simple, dependable baits that inspire confidence when conditions get tough.
